What is life? Look to I Peter 1:3-9 - awesome word - "According as his divine power hath given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, (LIFE) having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And besides this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue (LIFE): and to virtue knowledge (LIFE); and to knowledge temperance (LIFE); and to temperance patience (LIFE) ; and to patience godliness (LIFE); and to godliness brotherly kindness (LIFE); and to brotherly kindness charity (LIFE). For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." If the Holy Spirit is not forming these life characteristics in the inner man, then there is no life, only voidness, and shallowness and a pretending of Christianity but no substance of life.

Now another word is the word truth. If we have not be taught the truth and have lived in lies according to the impregnated doctrine of men rather than the truth of the word, then this will not produce life, nor will it produce Godly love. If we believe one thing and think one way, but it is not the virgin truth of the Word of God, then we are deceived. These untruths will produce nothing but flesh and self-righteousness. There are many doctrines of men, which have been held as truth by the church for centuries, but are not the virgin truth set down through the apostles of old.

The Lord has set before us a standard, which through this standard there are certain requirements. That is right, certain requirements are to be believed and walked in. If we do what He tells us to do, it will always be according to His Word. This then will produce life and also Godly love which will change not only our own lives, but also the lives of others. The interpretation of His Word will have to be given by revelation to those He sets in authority in His kingdom. Today He has picked those whom He has revealed the truth of the ancient paths that have been long lost. His own will be meek, and humble and have no agenda of their own. Read the book of Acts concerning the Acts of the Apostles, and look upon apostle Paul. He was scourged, driven out of towns, beaten, put in prison and railed against for his declaring the truth. There is always a cost to speak the truth of God, for it will declare light in the midst of darkness and the darkness hates the light.

One thing I have noticed among God's people is that they do not recognize life. And that is because they themselves are not walking in the life, and so they in themselves produce a superficial love, which always needs to be please. If you please me, I will love you with my surface love. If I don't like something about you, I will depart from you. So this love is cruel, and critical, and judgmental and into self-pleasing. Now you want to know why the church is so full of all of the above? It is because there is little life in her. No life, no agape love. Life has a demand. It demands to the uttermost death to self, so deep that there is no more self. It demands that self become nothing nor will not have its own way. It demands that self be put under the spiritual laws of God. Life demands strict obedience to the Word of God. Many are running to and fro seeking what they no not of, when in reality, their problem is in submission. When one learns the way of submission to those the Lord puts over us and to the submission to one another and submission to the magistrates of the land, only then will one know the submission to the Lord. In Gods life there is divine order.

We don't want to leave out the word BLOOD. When we truly - and I say again - truly receive the blood through repentance and Godly sorrow - then we are cleansed continually to receive more of His life and more of His love. If we keep His commandments - we will love for we will have life, His life. Where there is no life and no understanding of it, there is no love; where there is no love the provision of the blood of Christ has not be applied frequently. We have become a church without the repentance of sins and Godly sorrow and cleansing of the blood - yes, a church that is full of hypocrisy, going about in superficial love and never knowing the truth and liberty and freedom of walking in the Spirit.

But God will have His seven thousand, who have not bowed their knee to Baal. "For as many as are lead by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Rom. 8:14.

Look for the life, for there you will find the fruit and the freedom of the Holy Spirit, the anointing, the truth, and most of all, the Father's love, which will never harm, but restore. Blessings.
