BEHOLDING THE ANGELS

We like to begin this story with something of an encounter a couple of weeks ago. We were blessed to have Bro. Roy Browne and wife Yvonne from Belfast, Ireland with us in fellowship one Sunday morning. Roy began to speak of revival and he said he did not even know why he was speaking of it. The Holy Spirit moved on us, and we said, "We know why you are telling this, it is because we have been praying for revival for Franklin, NC for 4 years. And what is more, the Lord sent you here in our midst for a stirring up for the revival that is coming." We were all so excited and then we felt the Lord said to go up to Wayah Bald (the high point here in these mountains around Franklin - 5,300 or so feet high.) So we designated a time to go. We met there on a Tues. evening at 7:00 p.m. along with another church fellowship and with Roy and Yvonne.

There we were with the cold wind blowing as we stood on the top of the tower overlooking Franklin and surrounding areas. Roy shared again about the revivals in Scotland, Ireland and Wales in times past and the folks that were involved in the praying and bringing in the move of God with their steadfast prayers. We listened, and the wind kept blowing as we huddled together. We began to sing and pray and Bro. John played the guitar. The shofar was blown. We began to extend our hands over the different sides of the tower and then a light in the evening sky began to appear. Yvonne became quite excited as she saw something moving in that area, something like small bubbles. Then a dark midst began to surround the tower where we were. We were surrounded by this mist and began to sense the presence of angelic beings. Some even saw multitudes of angels surrounding us. They said there were hundreds and hundreds of them, shoulder-to-shoulder and moving upward as in a stadium. Even if you could not see them visibly, you knew they were there. It was such an awesome presence that we were all overwhelmed. Our prayers changed to prayers of great might and authority, prophecy flowed with an urgency of the times and we knew we were standing in a place of the heavenly kingdom. What seemed to be 10 minutes turned into One 1/2 hours in the cold and wind. When it was finished, the midst lifted and we were ready to depart. We had a visitation from the Lord's hosts.

God is doing many things in these times, and all we have to do is believe and obey. He said go to Wayah Bald, and we did, and so He moved. Now we continue to pray and wait for the Lord's move in revival on Franklin. Bless the Lord!
