JANUARY 1, 2005

Dear Brethren:

Blessings in the name of the Lord!  We felt the Lord say we are   “ON THE BRINK” of both greater blessings and judgments for the year 2005.  We, the church of the Only Living God, are going to experience God performing what is in His plan, fulfilling His prophetic word.  So will the nations of the earth see His hand and learn that He alone is God.  In other words, the Father God is in control and these moves will be His in this year of 2005. It has just begun, worldwide.

Both greater blessings and judgments will produce many changes.  First of all – it produces these changes– both positive and negative.  Some of these changes will be irrevocable.  We have to determine whether we are going to stand today, faithful and holy in Him.  Scripture says,     “Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods on the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Josh. 24:14,15.  So choose you this day whom you will serve,” which means you have a personal choice.  We are in a serious time this year of 2005, for the choice will determine where you will be positioned in future times.

Joshua admonished Israel to choose whom they were going to serve, the pagan gods or the living GOD!  Many people now are in the valley of decision.  But those decisions always lead to more decisions.  Right decisions will bring us deeper into the reality of the teachings of the Lord Jesus. I once gave this prophecy to a church “Choose this day whom you will serve” and in the awesome seriousness of that time, many did not heed these words. The consequence that followed was departure from the Lord and going back into the world.  They lost their joy, peace, jobs and families.   Great was the loss because of their wrong decision and lack of respect of the Word given through His ministers.

A prophetic word went out from this ministry last year stating that there would be changes before the end of the year and going into the New Year.  Great changes would take place, along with judgment on the way.” We as a people of God know much about the blessings of God, but little about judgments?  We can cringe at the thought of judgment and choose to look away and not want to think it.  However it is the Lord’s doing and He is in the midst of all of it.

Look at the catastrophic “Tsunami which just occurred in Asia, now hear all the voices as they begin to speak concerning it. Do you hear them saying, “Was it God or was it not God?”  One minister wrote concerning this catastrophe,  “God is not mad at His creation nor punishing His creation as He has already punished creation in Christ.”  This statement is spoken out of a lack of understanding concerning the judgments of God.

The judgment on these nations was due mostly because of their denial of the Living God; which expressed itself in rejection of His glory, His Name, His Christ and His Spirit. This expressed itself furthermore in the persecution of the Lord’s church in these countries.  Bangladesh predominately Muslim, where believers were beaten and forced from their homes; India, predominately Hindu there were reports of pastors and priests being beaten and nuns raped.   Indonesia where there it is predominately Muslim, militant Muslims orchestrated an Islamic jihad against Christians, where 8,000 people were killed and 600 churches destroyed.  In Maldives, which is also predominately Muslim, all Christian foreigners were expelled from the country in 1998.  In Somalia which is predominately Muslim, fellowship among believers is dangerous, since Muslim persecution is strong in many parts of the country; Sri Lanka prominently Buddhist is where dozens of churches, pastors and evangelists were attacked by militant Buddhist in 2003 and 2004. And there are other listings we will not record here.

Along the seashores pleasure seekers were everywhere and so was sin with no consciousness of it.  The abundance of sex slave rings of women and children in these paradise islands is awesome.  Would God judge such a condition as this?  Yes He would.

Quoted from “The Book of Revelation, A Prophetic Word to the Church ” by John L. Parault

The reason for judgments declared in the book Revelation, as we well know is sin.  Judgment brings about cleansing and divine order, and it is the pleading voice of God to repent. “For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh and the slain of the LORD shall be many. Isa. 66:16.  Why the pleading with fire and sword?  Verse four answers why. …  Because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”  Consider that God pleads first with word; the last resort is judgment with fire and sword.

The word repent is mentions some twelve times in Revelation.  The Lord is always seeking a change of mind concerning sin and disobedience, even before and after the judgment.  The church throughout the book of Revelation can view God’s wrath on worldwide sin as it was in the days of Noah.  Sin is greater now than it was in that day in one aspect, for God has given more light and understanding about His mind purpose and provision for holiness.  So we stand in a greater light of understanding than those in the day of Noah.

As we have been looking at the characteristics of this age, let it be known that the earth has experience a build up of defilement and rebellion from century to century and the end of it is on the horizon.  But God’s judgment on nations has come and will precede the end and in fact will be at the end.  The understanding that God judges is something that is needed in the church.  Much false doctrine has entered to confuse and distort a biblical truth of God’s nature.  Note Gen. 18:25; Psa. 97:2; 96:13.

Some people do not understand the nature of God and this brings many spiritual problems.  Revelation 16:5,7 reveals to us something about Him.  These verses tell us that His judgments are true and righteous.  What is man to criticize God?  He is not qualified to open his mouth in his blindness and ignorance.  The angel in verse 5 says, God is righteous because He has judged the beast and His worshippers.  If God does not judge sin this would declare that He is not righteous.  One of the ways in which the wicked world knows there is a God is declared in Psa. 9:16-17. “The Lord is known by the judgment he executed; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands.”  See also Isa. 5:16; 54:8; Micah 3:4.”

Furthermore judgment cannot take place apart from power and love.  This reveals things about God.  It takes power to judge.  Begin looking in Genesis at God’s power to flood the earth then look at all the judgments from that point to Revelation, which speaks of many end-time judgments.  As you do you are looking at power beyond our comprehension.  It takes love to judge.  Why?  It is because the only radical judgment of sin is pure love.  Sin will not judge itself.  Look at the love that judged sin in the death of God’s only begotten Son whom He loved.  Yet He commissioned Him to die while loving Him who did no sin that He may judge sin in Him.  Therefore if we believe in Him we will not be judged.  Now do you understand?  Love must judge sin or else everything else is lost.  Love must cut off the corruption and contamination or there shall be death with no recovery.  Only love seeks purity and what it takes to have it.  You don’t see Satan judging sin do you?”

End of Quote

Can we now believe that the Lord God is rising up to begin to judge the nations of the world?  It is an awesome place to fall into the hands of the living God.   HE IS GOD and HE WILL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE HIM.  This is not the devil doing this, but the almighty God’s judgment beginning to fall on heathens who worship idols and false gods. Just as they did in the Old Testament and for centuries thereafter having other gods, wooden gods, metal gods all of which are worthless. What did the One and only GOD do?  He destroyed them all with their idols.  He will surely purge and cleanse the earth again.  He did it in the flood; He did it in Sodom and Gomorrah and He will do it again at the coming of His dear Son, Jesus. Praise the Lord!  He always had His own people in the midst of nations of darkness, but know He is in control and always will be. Some Christians died in the Tsunami, some would question that, but those who were faithful to the Lord were called to glory.  It was their time, now they are with the Lord forever. Some will change their minds through these times and turn to Christ and others will curse Him.  This then is the deciding factor of being on “THE BRINK.”

Will we be spared in the United States?  The answer is no!  We must immediately come to the throne of grace and fall on our faces and cry out to the Lord God and repent.  We must pray and repent quickly as time is running out.  The same judgments in Asia we can expect in this country because of our sins.  The warning in the weather conditions is here. It is in the winds, snows, floods, and droughts in various parts of the United States.  Then came the hurricanes that crippled Florida, which was a warning.  You may ask why?  If so, send for “The Visionsby Rene V. Parault  on our web site: sonriseministries.net.   God has been speaking to us for years and warning us as a nation.  Can we perceive this?

Prophecy Given around May 1987 to Florida:

“I have life, and I have planted seed, but I would have you to know, brethren, that in that very place shall My hand of judgment come forth.  I would say (addressing the ministers), work while thou can work.  Preach while thou can preach, and I would say unto thee, go while thou canst go.  But I would say unto thee, it has been decreed in the heavens, and it has been spoken forth, and I would say unto thee that thou shalt see upon that very state the hand of judgment.  Work while thou can work, for I have given thee a time and a time and a half. Work, join up, bring thy message from the top of the state to the bottom of the state, yea from side to side, for there will come a time when that state shall no long be a part of the mainland, for that shall be where My hand of natural judgment shall begin.  Work while thou can, for no man knoweth the time.  Make haste, saith the Lord.”
