GOD WILL PREVAIL WHEN WE PRAY

by Rene Parault

God Will Prevail When We Pray

Honduras has come through some major hurtles these past few months. In the election a couple of weeks ago, Hondurans came out in droves and voted their man in. This was in the face of the ousted president, Zelaya, who was telling them to stay home. (This man attempted to change the constitution). Many countries did not line up with Honduras holding fast to the elections according to her constitution. Why? They had another agenda. However, Honduras has fought for her democracy over these past painful months and it is now a new day for her.

I had a “Word” for Honduras around 1982; she would be a light house to the world. Well, she certainly has gotten the attention of the world as she has stood for her democracy among all the other dictators of countries in this hemisphere. Well done Honduras, God is with you. When the election was going on, I place a bible over the map of Honduras for 24 hours; also when the congress voted not to reinstate the ousted Zelaya. The Word of God is covering Honduras.

If you want to know my (Rene) interest in Honduras, it is in my book “The Visions.” The Lord sent me to Honduras in the early 1980’s and took me immediately to the president’s office. The Word I had for him was to call the country into a day of fasting and prayer. This he did on Oct. 31st on national television. God moved on Honduras from that day onward. Tegucigalpa, the capitol, became my base of operations and my work in Honduras began. Later with my husband, John, we both labored in the vineyard for over 25 years.

In this season of time, with the enemy all around, we did not want to see Honduras fall into the enemy’s hands. The people prayed, we prayed and others here and abroad prayed, and God answered the prayers.

Excerpts below from the HONDURAS PRESS: (copied and pasted)
(Note from Rene: Zelaya -the ousted president who wanted to change the constitution. Michellitti became the interim president, placed there by Congress, until the elections in Nov.)

Quoted from the Honduras Press: “Zelaya Will Not Be Reinstated
December 2nd, 2009

• The decisive tally is 65 in favor of not reinstating Zelaya, and 8 against. Even if the rest of the 128 congress people voted to reinstate him, he would only have 63 votes.
Therefore, Mr. Manuel Zelaya Rosales will not be restored to the presidency in Honduras.

• Congratulations Honduras. Congratulations Honduran Congress! This is a historical day for Honduras and the rest of the world who must learn that no president is above the law even if constitutionally and democratically elected. Each country has its own laws and constitution and no matter how small or poor, that country needs to be respected and allowed to deal with its own problems in its own ways.

• Chavez and his satellites and all the so called democracies that have presidents that have become demagogue tyrants, who have taken over total power over their governments, BEWARE! Honduras has created a precedent in favor of oppressed people, separation of powers, and Democracy at its best.
Good-bye Z’liar. And Chavez, “pon las barbas en remojo”.
Peace and blessings to all Hondurans.

• that was the best news ever ……we have been waiting for .We knew that people in the congress are smart enough to figure it out “what the Honduran people want”. I am truly proud of ” Honduras and the people of this very loving country “…Thanks, President Michellitti for leading your people the right way…..I hope this will be a lesson learned for those who will try again…what Z’liar did. VIVA HONDURAS!!!!!!Finally we can start fresh and move on for a positive change.

Once again, bravo to the legislators and president Michelliti and the people of Honduras….you can have peace and democracy
within your reach.
..……….. democracy always prevails and Honduras was lucky to have people like Michellitti who made sure democracy never left Honduras.” (End of Honduras Press quotes)

LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL - GOD IS NOT GOING TO BE MOCKED. AND HIS GLORY SHALL COVER THE EARTH. PRAISE YE THE LORD.
