These are the days when we are hearing many voices and many in
ministry saying, “I am an apostle”. What are they saying? For
what is an apostle? And who sent them? The word itself means “one
who is sent.” The apostle must have evidence that the Lord Himself
sent him through the Lord’s directive audible voice, or by an
encounter with the Lord Himself. Sent by whom? If he is a true
apostle, Jesus sends him with His anointing and a purpose to reinstate
the lost understanding of the scriptures, and to bring the church
into maturity. An apostle is called to reinstate the principles
of the word and the ancient paths that have been covered over
for centuries, and have been lost to the church.
It is the sign of the apostle’s hand (ministry) to reveal the
revelations and lost treasures that are originally in the word,
which were given, in the earlier days of the church. He is to
put her back on her footing, not laying again the first foundation
of the church, which is Christ Jesus. That was done centuries
ago by the first apostles. He pulls down the false structures
that man in religion has built over the true foundation. The true
structure will be full of truth, faith and grace.
The apostle himself will be dedicated to the Word of God, continuing
in the study of it and making it the first priority of His life.
This is a lifetime pursuit for him as he continually comes into
revelations of the Lord.
The half gospel of this hour is wobbling and will finally fall,
because it is only part truth and many will be deceived by it.
Where is the fruit of this gospel? The size of a congregation
is not the measure of success, if built by man. The church, which
is the spiritual house of the Lord is built on the true apostles
of this day, and it’s structure will remain; “and the large will
have to become small in order that small will eventually become
large.” This maxim. The house of the Lord will grow up to contain
the whole of the church who is growing in maturity, with Jesus
Christ being the chief cornerstone. Then will Jesus come! The
apostle himself will never try to control the people, but through
the impartation of the anointing, will encourage the people and
show them the highway to holiness, so that they may walk in the
kingdom, “clean.” So the apostle is the father figure to the Body
of Christ.
I said all this to share the events of Saturday night in July
in Atlanta, Georgia, and then what transpired Sunday in Lawrenceville,
Ga. One sign of an apostle’s hand is the insight given by the
Holy Spirit for the appraisal of the body of Christ at large,
and also word of knowledge, wisdom and discernment that will operate
for insight needed to minister in effectiveness.
As we have been called into the apostolic/prophetic anointing,
we saw how the Lord moved during the service Saturday night in
Atlanta, when over 500 came representing different Hispanic churches.
The anointing was moving through prophetic preaching, and then
moved into prophetic personal words that confirmed the issues
of the heart, and encouraged the people that the Lord loved them.
The anointing also encompassed those that came from different
Hispanic countries – many countries were represented there and
they were called up front to demonstrate their unity in Christ,
along with their Hispanic brothers and sisters. Many were crying
as the anointing moved on them and did such an awesome work. God’s
purpose for this was to break of barriers between the nations,
and unify their culture. He was moving to bring them forth as
ONE CHURCH, for the Lord wants to demonstrate His glory through
His Hispanic people in Atlanta. And it has begun.
The apostle’s hand (ministry) also moved on Sunday night’s service
in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The preaching of holiness went forth,
and at the end, the Holy Spirit moved on a woman and man in the
congregation who were living together, and not married. They came
up crying and repented, but that was not the end of the move of
the Spirit. Other couples came up until there were five couples
repenting of their sins. Some of the couples were visiting the
church for the first time. There was also a single woman who came
up alone. These all desired to become clean, because God moved
on their behalf and through the spirit of repentance and prayer,
they chose to change their lives and get it in order. This reminds
me of what the Lord said to me 30 years ago – ‘I WANT MY PEOPLE
CLEAN.” People sit in their churches today in deep sin with no
conviction – and this contaminates the whole congregation. Well
the Lord made it known; He is cleansing the house and will not
tolerate the sins in the camp. This is the day we are living in.
We left that Sunday rejoicing for what the Lord had done. Be blessed!
