PROPHECY GIVEN IN BATON ROUGE - July 24, 2004

For the Lord would say unto thee in this day that you would know it is a serious time and an awesome time.  There are things you must do now and be not slow, saith the Lord.  Be not those that would linger and drag their feet, those things they know to do they lay aside those things the Lord has spoken unto them many, many times.  For surely I say unto thee in this day, that there are changes coming to this very country, and changes are on the way.  And yet I would speak unto thee that thou wouldest know before the end of this year, and going into the next, great changes shall begin to take place.  But My people must have ears to hear and eyes to see and know what to do next and yea know what to do next saith the Lord.

Oh, they must know my voice and they must know Me personally and they must know that I am speaking to them.  Oh what to do and hear and how to see.  But I would say unto thee that changes shall be so rapidly that some will not be able to stand for they shall find themselves in positions of even laying down and giving up in that day rather than taking a stand.  The Lord would say, it shall come upon them rapidly this change and so I would say there is much to do and there is a move of the Spirit and it is rapidly taking place - and what thou must do is come into the race, not walk with the footman but come into the horseman - that thou shall be like an Elijah running ahead of the chariots in this day.

The Lord would say many things I've spoken unto thee to do in the past, each one of thee - and thou hast heard the prophecy upon prophecy upon prophecy coming forth unto thee, yea, but I would say unto thee, where does thou stand in the day of the prophetic making an impact on thee, where does thou stand that thou can hear and that thou can surely see?  For I would say unto thee, many have heard and heard and heard over and over again, My people, so, but I would say they have been lax and they have been slow.  And there has been a spirit of unbelief in My house, unbelief has kept my people dull of mind and dull of understanding - but God will have in this day, I speak unto thee there will be a people who can hear and who can see. 

And this is what shall keep thee in troubled times saith the Lord, it is in My presence when thou can carry the sword, for only in My presence is when the fiery sword begins to come forth. I would say a great work, yea, healing and deliverance and restoration of all sort for I would speak unto thee that thou would know that thou art standing in this day, time and season, it is not something ahead of thee but it is now something upon thee.  And I would say unto thee that thou must come into thy prayer closet and thou must seek Me, saith the Lord.  What did I tell thee in the early days?  What did I speak to thee about many seasons ago? What did I speak unto thine ears many, many season ago?  How did I minister to thee and what did I show thee in visions and dreams?  What did I show thee in the morning hours when thou came from thy sleep?  What did I speak to thee about what I would have thee do?  What did I tell thee time and time again if you do what you know to do? 

So I would say unto thee the time has come, there is no more time saith the Lord.  Either you are going to go ahead or you are going back saith the Lord and I would say unto thee it will cause thee great anguish, troublesome things shall be upon thee.  I do not want to trouble My people, saith the Lord, this is not in My heart, nay, but it is because of the season of time the cup of iniquity in this nation has risen up and over-flowed and I would say a nation called by My name, and full of all of the perversion that which I abhor. 

And so I would say you have been called this day to hear judgment is on the way.  And I want thee to know that My people must now begin to rise up and not be slow, because the rising up in Me and the spoken Word which I shall speak through thee that it shall begin to move the enemy back this way and that until it consumes all.  For I would say in the troublesome times the enemy would want to consume everything but My people must have the authority of My spoken Word and they must carry My sword. It is time to awaken for the trumpet is sounding and so it shall be and I give you the word today, now I say, 'What shall you do?"
