OUR TRAVELS ENGLAND AND BELGIUM - JUNE 2005
We have just recently returned from
England and Brussels, Belgium. What a wonderful time we had there in the
Lord. The message continually was that of forgiveness. Many of God's people
in the church have unforgiveness in their hearts, holding grudges both
against those who are living and those who are not. Once they could confess
that they would forgive those that had hurt them and misused them, there was
an immediate release and they were set free. Of course, this has a lot to do
with healing, inner healing and deliverance. It is so wonderful to be set
free and go on and serve the Lord. When one is bound in unforgiveness, they
cannot hear God's word with accuracy because it cannot penetrate the heart
that is in sin; neither can they have victory in their lives.
We ministered to young adults in London, and had a wonderful time. The Word was good and prophesy went forth. There was much prophesy in the meetings throughout the trip which edified the body of Christ. Our next ministry was with ICM in Ashford/Kent, which is an International Fellowship with members from many nations. We ministered there for about a week in men's meetings, women's meetings and general meetings, and again the Lord was imparting an anointing on the message of forgiveness. Later the ICM pastor, Pastor Enoch and wife and family from Rwanda, took us by car, on a train which went under the English Channel. We then drove through France into Brussels, and also Liege, Belgium where we were with the Pentecostal church of Philadelphia. These churches were full of brethren from Rwanda, Africa. How they could praise the Lord in their African worship. In the mother Pentecostal church in which there was around 400 the Lord moved in prophesy and the message of forgiveness was given again. Brethren from Rwanda needed to forgive those in their country who through the tribal wars had murdered many family members; and also there was unforgiveness towards Americans. Yes, we also had somewhat to do with all that has taken place in Rwanda. God's Word was being magnified, and hearts were being changed. In the youth meeting of around 100, almost all came down for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. John ministered to a young white lad who was Greek Orthodox. He began to weep after receiving the Lord; the Lord had a great call on his young life. We did not know that even to this day there are refugee areas in Brussels along with many others in Europe in which many are being processed to live in Brussels and other countries. They fled their countries in Africa because of tribal wars and threats. They were running for their lives. We were able to spend time with some from one of those camps. We had the opportunity to be a Methodist home group in Ashford, and also with the Followers of the Way in Wingham, the intercessors who had been with us on the trip to Iona, Scotland in 2000. The last part of the journey we were with the Revelation Church in Ash Green, outside of London with Pastor Andrew Broughton and wife Crissy. What wonderful meetings we had there and the saints rejoiced with us as the Lord cleansed and healed so many. There was a basin of water, which many dipped their hands into, declaring the prophetic act of cleansing. God spoke and said that He was starting with a people who would walk in love, and so He was bringing forth a remnant that would live the Word and walk in unity with one another. It has begun, praise God! We are so knit to the hearts to the people of England whom we ministered to. And so the eighteen days went quickly, and we are now home looking forward to when we can be reunited with them again. Bless the Lord!
