SURRENDER
My eyes, saith God, are in search among the called ones for a
surrendered man,
One who has abandoned himself to me and has relinquished all to
the control of my hand.
I seek a man who is jealous for my honor and desires intensely
my sovereign way,
One who keeps nothing from me that my purpose can manifest in
this day.
Indeed I look for a man who knows that he is mine and lives as
belonging to me,
One who is aware that surrender is not bondage but the only way
to be free.
True freedom is the liberty to become what I purposed them to
be;
Only in surrender to me are they free, and in yielding my glory
they shall see.
There are those who choose to obey in measure, and in measure
resist my will,
Yet I am dealing with them to change their minds, my Spirit is
moving and convicting still.
Others outwardly do what I command, but inwardly some resistance
is there.
I will perfect their surrender, I will purify from hesitation
and rebellion - for I do care.
Their greatest underlying fear before me is this radical surrender
of all;
They know that surrender means the loss of control, and when it
comes to obedience they stall.
O, saith God, my work is to wed their will to mine, a union where
both are one,
Where they experience my will on earth perfectly done.
Surrender to my voice and to my leading is never a small matter;
So ever be sensitive to what I desire, without fleshly rebellious
chatter.
Know that the measure of your surrender is the measure of your
usefulness:
I can always be more and do more through you in a greater yieldedness.
Yield to me and do not stand against my will to work blessings
in the earth.
As you relinquish your will for mine I will heal others and in
them goodness birth.
My own must realize that a man is what he wills, that is the
revelation of him.
Men always surrender to what rules their hearts; but I seek to
transform them.
I am working in them both to will and to do of my good pleasure;
Their will and surrender born of me, for my heart seeks fullness
not measure.
As I make them one with me they will surely cherish what I choose,
Releasing what is mine to do my desire, for here they gain with
nothing to lose.
Now my own must hear this day what a son truly is indeed:
He is the one led of my Spirit and to my word gives heed.
O, he knows that surrender is the life of a son in love with
his Lord,
And that doing things his way with what is mine is surely hard.
Why does my house call surrender sacrifice in my sight?
Is it not rather a response to the recognition of my ownership
and my right?
Understand that surrender is your choice, by my grace, and not
of any coercion.
And by your yieldedness I receive what I desire, even your transformation.
My rule and dominion is for my people’s good, and it is absolute.
This rule gives life, so to my holy order and set purpose be resolute.
Do my own perceive that to surrender is to win, and to lose one’s
life is to live?
And to refuse to take what is of the world is to have my all,
this is the way I give.
Many speak of their worship of me, yet in true worship there
is sweet surrender.
The religious mind and will is not of me, and of its will and
mine, I am not a blender.
To truly love me is to surrender, and herein is found the highest
good.
Love is both the standard and the power of obedience. O! This
must be understood.
This day I summon my own to awaken and to surrender to the rule
of my kingdom:
Come ye that have done your will and have forgotten mine - let
all hear this, not just some.
Now I ask you personally: what have I been saying to you that
you haven’t yet yielded to?
What have I been speaking to you that you must yet obey and do?
My summons in love is clear:
Surrender my child and to me draw near.

of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as
those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments
of righteousness unto God.” Romans 6:13 |
