PROPHECY
SAVED THE FAMILY

Translated from Spanish into English:
Dear Sister Rene and Bro. John: (Son Rise IT Center) I am forwarding
to you a letter that was sent to me by Laura. Laura used to live
from time to time between Miami and New Orleans, and she moved
to New Orleans permanently a few years ago.
I will only summarize the part (of the letter) that pertains
to you. "She and her family were getting ready to evacuate
the city on Sunday. It was Saturday, and she was having doubts
on whether or not they should leave. Last year they evacuated
at about the same time of year, the baby was two weeks old. but
nothing happened. As they went out Saturday evening to buy the
babies milk, she recalled a word and prophecy that Sis. Rene had
given in Miami many years ago. It was about what was going to
happen to New Orleans. (destruction) This was God's time for that
word to come to pass. As she began to share with Jorge (her husband)
the prophecy, he told her that this could very well be God's time
for that prophecy to come to pass. She shared with him that Rene
and Bro.John had said that many would not believe, and would go
about their lives as if it were business as usual, celebrating
the Carnivals (Mardi Gras). Almost at that very moment to their
surprise and as a confirmation, people came parading in front
of them on the street wearing Mardi Gras like costumes as if nothing
were going to happen. They immediately decided to leave that very
night." Needless to say, because the Lord brought that prophecy
back to her memory, and they heeded God's word, she and her family
were saved from additional hardship, anguish and perhaps even
death. I know that testimonies such as these, strengthen and encourage
you to continue forth with the ministry that the Lord has given
you. Those that have heard, believe and heed God's word shall
be saved as the Israelites were saved when the Angel of death
passed through Egypt. Love you and God bless.
Note: It has come across our desk that this week of the hurricane
was to be the grand, yearly Gay Parade in New Orleans. |
